• "Traditionals" pickups

The Traditions series is my answer to the people who are not into wood or just don't want to change the look of their vintage style guitar. I have made these to the same spec's as my wood pickups so they have the great tone you have come to expect from Wiggins Brand.

Pickups are handwound using 42 or 43 gauge wire, and Alnico 5 magnets, and are wax potted. Bobbins are made from vintage-style fiber (flatwork) board. Price includes plastic covers in your choice of parchement, black or cream, as well as tubes and screws, and vintage correct push back cloth covered wires.

• Stratocaster style pickups are priced per set of three. If you need a single or have a special consideration, please email.

Wind Styles Available:

• Vintage (smooth & bright; great for country/classic rock)

• Overwound (warm smooth darker tone; great for hard rock)

• Texas Wound (blusey & gritty, hot bridge, vintage neck & middle; great for country, blues & rock)

Middle pickup is not reverse wound, for greater versatility and better tone.
